David Tomaloff is a very important something.
Three of my photographs are quite happy with their residency at A-Minor Magazine this month. Visit them, and then be sure to wander the corridors to visit with works by the likes of Jen Knox, Parker Tettleton, Mark Reep, Joseph A. W. Quintela and Gabriel Don, Ben Spivey, Maureen Alsop and Joshua Gottlieb-Miller, Chrissy Core, and Mary Carroll-Hackett. OMG go right now. Word to Eryk Wenziak and Nicolette Wong. Word, indeed.

David Tomaloff, "RANDALL" at SUNDOG LIT
I’m sharing this again for anyone who might have missed it. Also, because I like it. Okay, mostly because of that. But also because of the other thing.
Being vegan is easy. Are there social pressures that encourage you to continue to eat, wear, and use animal products? Of course there are. But in a patriarchal, racist, homophobic, and ableist society, there are social pressures to participate and engage in sexism, racism, homophobia and ableism. At some point, you have to decide who you are and what matters morally to you. And once you decide that you regard victimizing vulnerable nonhumans as not morally acceptable, it is easy to go and stay vegan.
Draw a monster. Why is it a monster?
I am a forest, and a night of dark trees: but he who is not afraid of my darkness, will find banks full of roses under my cypresses.
